Clara and I have reached the mid-point of our holiday in Scotland - we've had a great time so far. The first important event of our holiday was on the 22nd December - Clara's 13th birthday. Although a bit jet lagged, my parents took Clara and her Scottish friends bowling, held a small birthday party at their home, followed by a treasure hunt in the evening with the clues located around the neighbourhood. Clara and her friends had a great time, despite the freezing sleet.
It is amazing to think that a week has passed already. We have had a good Christmas, done a bit of shopping, and made a short visit to Skye. More updates on all our activities will follow soon.
